DJ -- If you're still here, I never thought about changing the form of the word. Although I started this thread here, I brought the idea from BFG. I'd say leave the word the way the person above you put it up. But that is JMHO.
Back to business:
I went down to the basement freezer to find something to defrost for dinner. When I turned on the lightbulb, I saw a ghost and departed hastily without picking anything.

While I was mixing up my vinagrette, I accidentely knocked over the daisies on the table & had to use the paper towels to mop up water spilled, then had to use more for the fish bowl that got joggled!

As I was trying to plant flowers in some very mucky dirt
Used some fertilizer from a sack looked very dry tho so used
two watering cans to make it moist job done

A woman was cleaning her fishtank, when suddenly the cord to the pump caught on fire so she ran to the fridge and got some icewater to dump on it.
